Ice T Bounced LOL!
May 18, 2007 -- A VERY brave maitre d' bounced Ice T and Coco from a bottle-service table at Maxim's Hot 100 party at Ono in the Gansevoort Hotel to make room for Hilary and Hayley Duff Wednesday night. "Coco was p - - - ed," our sources report. Also braving the huge line snaking around the hotel were Lindsay Lohan and Calum Best, Jay-Z, Avril Lavigne, Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell, Megan Fox (the hottie in the upcoming "Transformers" movie) and Richie Rich and Amanda Lepore. The Gansevoort is where Maxim is launching its first in a chain of Maxim Prime steakhouses with Jeffrey Chodorow.

Flav Blew It
May 18, 2007. Six months ago, Flavor Flav looked like he had just made the comeback of the century. But since then, his star seems to have fizzled a bit. According to a VH1 insider, it's because Flav bargained himself out of a job at the cable network.
A source over at the network said that Flav tried to negotiate a huge payday for himself. The insider explains, "[Flav] was asking for millions of dollars for each season of Flavor Of Love - that was way more than we were willing to spend ... We ended up going with I Love New York instead and, needless to say, it worked out pretty well for us."
I Love New York, the spin-off of Flavor Of Love debuted with the highest ratings of any show in VH1 history. The debut show garnered more than 4.4 million viewers - 33% more viewers than the debut of Flavor Of Love 2.
And Flav may have realized his mistake. Because now, according to our snitch, Flav's demands have come down significantly. Tells our insider, "I hear that [Flav] has now come back to reality with the negotiations ... But with the success of Charm School and a couple of other projects we have coming up, [VH1] may not need him. He may have missed the boat." What You Think?

Goverment Spies On Jay-z,Diddy,Russell & Alicia Keys?
For those that think that government spying is a thing of the past, think again. It was revealed that the New York Police Department spied on various individuals before the 2004 Republican National Convention was held in New York.
Details of this were revealed in 600 pages worth of secret files released by the New York Civil Liberties Union. In the documents, Sean "Diddy" Combs, Jay-Z, LL Cool J, Russell Simmons and Alicia Keys were all put under surveillance in the months before the 2004 Republican National Convention arrived in New York. Each one of the artists attended a rally held by Russell Simmons’ Hip-Hop Summit Action Network in Aug. Of 2004, to support voter registration and to address various political issues.
"These documents paint a picture of a surveillance program that was broad, clumsy, and often unlawful," said Donna Lieberman, NYCLU Executive Director. "The NYPD failed to differentiate between unlawful behavior and behavior that is not only lawful but should in fact be cherished and protected. Today the public can finally bear witness to that failure."
The documents also reveal that email list serves as well as political meetings were infiltrated by NYPD officers years before the Republican National Convention. New York officials tried to keep this from going public but a judge ruled in favor of the documents being available for general viewing on May 4th.
The NYPD is accused of recording information about activity that was completely peaceful and lawful.
The documents can be found at www.nyclu.org/rncdocs/

Verizon Ends Partnership with Akon
Verizon has ended its partnership with Akon after what FoxNews.com is calling the "simulated rape of a 15-year old girl."
"This week the partnership ended," said a Verizon spokesman. "We have music services on our cellphone service and we were promoting him as one of the artists. The other part of the sponsorship was the Gwen Stefani tour, of which he was an opening act. We are no longer sponsoring the tour."
Danah Alleyne, the girl in the video, said "I got carried away, I started to dance as well, but I never thought it was going to be like that...I was shocked. My head was hitting the floor."
The girl admitted being let into the club despite being underaged.
This isn't the first time a rapper has lost a record deal over controversy, as Ludacris' Pepsi endorsement was rescinded after comments made by Bill O'Reilly.

Jim Jones Reveals Beef with Camron
In a post on her blog (missinfo.tv), Hot 97’s Miss Info has confirmed the long rumored beef between Dipset founder Cam’ron and his longtime second in command, Jim Jones. According to the post, Jim claims that he hasn’t spoken to Cam in over a year and that tension has been building between him and the rest of the camp for some time now. “I kept quiet out of loyalty, I felt like if we cant be friends then at least we can do business together, Jimmy is quoted as saying. “But now I can’t be next to you. I’m through with being in hot water because of you.” The Dipset Capo is scheduled to visit Funkmaster Flex’s show on Monday to discuss his statements. According to Miss Info, he reportedly has “some shocking suspicions” about what really happened between Cam and Roc La Familia artist Tru Life outside New York’s Club Stereo last week. While Cam’s camp has denied it, Tru Life has stated that he personally assaulted the Dipset boss. What You Think?

Poor Little Cammy-Cam LOL
Cam got socked in the eye:
The beef was taken to another level, as New York's Power 105 morning show host Ed Lover explains what happened: "What happened last night was Cam was standing in front of Club Stereo and Tru Life confronted him about what's been going on back and forth on the mixtapes and they got into a physical confrontation. Pretty much Tru Life hit Cam, cops broke it up and everyone dispersed," said the radio show host, according to SOHH.
Dipset need to fall back off that corny ass tight-jeans swagger they got going
and focus on their music. They not that hot and this shit is lame. Cam talks too damn much
and doesn't back any of that garbarge he spits. Jim is........ fuck it. I rather not waste my time.
Tru-Life seems to be a stand up guy, but I think he should focus on his career and get that album out.

Bria Miles Is Banging!!
Bria Myles was born in Los Angeles, California in May 1984. She attended Fairfax High School and with the advice and guidance of certain friends, quickly realized she wanted to try her hand in the entertainment industry. Bria made her big debut in the Kanye West / Rhymefest video “Brand New” in 2005. This was soon followed by her lead in Twista’s “Girl Tonight” video featuring Trey Songz. Careful not to oversaturate, she took a self-imposed sabbatical from music videos until early 2006 when she appeared in Nelly Fertado’s “Promiscuous Girl” and in the Pharrell / Clipse music video “Mr. Me Too.” But her biggest accomplishment in 2006 was making the cover of King Magazine. Bria would like to evenutally segue into acting and possibly singing and hopes to achieve big things in the very near future. What You Think?

I LOVE NY AND FLAVOR OF LOVE STAGED?
Damn its not like I give a shit. An VH1 insider recently made this post on VH1's message board.
The poster also claims that New York used to work as an exotic dancer.
Here's what the poster said:
I have been watching this nonsense for a couple of weeks and I can no longer stand the stupidity. Yes, the show is fake.
The scenario is that the show was concocted to appear to be some sort of dating show, but the "contestants" signed up for something entirely different. The girls on the show signed up for more of an "acting contest".
The concept, initially proposed by William Drayton aka 'Flava Flav', was to have a show which would appear to the viewers to be a 'dating contest', but in reality would be an competition to find a suitable 'match' for a money desperate Drayton after Brigitte Nielson declined to appear in another season of VH1's "Strange Love".
The winner would be the woman who could best 'act like' Drayton's perfect other. Someone with antics bizarre enough to hold the interest of the viewers, and who could also feign love for the virtually unlikable Drayton.
In layman's terms: A group of young (and not so young) Hollywood fringe hopefuls signed contracts to appear on a televised acting contest, vying for the coveted position of phony reality show 'girlfriend' to 'Flava Flav'. The prize included a guaranteed reality show (Strange Love) and monetary compensation.
The long and short of it: "Flavor of Love" is the WWF of dating shows.
To further perpetuate the absolute ridiculousness is their choice of thespians to play "New York" and family. Surprise! No, they're not related. No, Mr. 'New York' is not the owner of a fortune 500 company. (If you were foolish enough to believe this you likely need your head checked...what millionaire, country club thoroughbred has as uneducated, filthy and tragically cheap a child and as deranged and unkempt a wife as he has on the show?)
Miss 'New York' is actually Kenya Simmons of Newark New Jersey. Never heard of her? Well, it's not likely that you would have.
Simmons, a former exotic dancer, has shown up to many a reality show castings. (I work for Fox). To add hilarity to the stew, she was rejected thrice by "The Bachelor".
Simmons is not the only television hopeful who has shown her face at numerous open call castings.
The actress (and I use that term loosely) who plays "Mrs. Michelle", New York's mother, Leslie Bibbs, is not only of no relation to Simmons, but once stood in the same cattle call line with her at an open call for a B.E.T reality show.
Another amazing tidbit: Bibbs and Simmons are only 5 years apart in age.
I've never heard much about the actor playing Mr. New York, but my friend seems to think he works at VH1.
